ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

•  ASSISTANT to the DIRECTOR of EDUCATIONAL OPERATIONS (7.5 hrs/day, 225 days/year)  Position will begin July 1, 2013

  • Valid Pennsylvania Supervisor of Special Education or Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility is preferred
  • Masters degree in education
  • Minimum 5 years of successful administrative experience in a public school
  • Proven strong leader with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all staff members and demonstrate a sincere interest in the education of all students
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies governing education in the state and school district
  • Exceptional communication skills, both orally and written
  • Knowledge of mathematics, including algebra and statistics, and their applications
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Excellent technological proficiencies (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN (7.5 hrs/day, 187 days/year)  This is a one-year temporary position to begin July 1, 2013

  • Masters degree in education
  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills which enable one to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize one's work and handle unexpected interruptions
  • Ability to use data in the decision-making process
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Proactive orientation
  • Excellent technological proficiencies (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is preferred

• PENNSYLVANIA CERTIFIED MATHEMATICS TEACHER (2 positions available)  MUST have either Mid-Level Mathematics 7-9 or Mathematics 7-12 certification!
