The Cumberland Life Festival is a two-day event during which all eighth-grade students demonstrate early American lifestyles to elementary students and the people of the community. The eighth graders begin to research their Cumberland Life Festival projects in February by using library information and community resource people. The students demonstrate their chosen topics in May. Topics presented include:
