Cumberland Life Festival
Old Home Week began when Philip E. Baer wrote to the local newspaper and suggested that an “Old Boys Reunion” held from August 10th through the 20th in 1902. The reunion was such a success it was held again in 1905. The Old Home Week celebration has been held on a triennial basis without interruption ever since. The celebration includes activities such as a High School alumni banquet, a bicycle race, an architectural tour of historical downtown Greencastle, a trolly ride, and many activities at Tayamentasachta.
